Maycee!

Yes, that's right!  It's Maycee's birthday today!  She's 2!  Her party is on Friday, but we are having a fun day spending time with her on the actual day!  We love you Maycee Lynn! 

Maycee's first haircut!

The time has finally come!  Cutting her hair was not a matter of it being too long, more to try and control it!  Haha, she has some pretty crazy hair that matches her personality perfectly.  :)  And although it was lots of fun to pull her hair back and do some wacky styles, a change was much needed.  Totally worth it!!  We love her newly trimmed hair and she looks even more grown up.  Wow, time has flown by.  AND...she'll be 2 on February 8th!  Dang, we still have that bink and we haven't progressed into pull-ups.  We have a "fun" year ahead!  Seriously am excited though!

Catching up with the fun things that went down over the break...

Right before xmas!  We went boarding up at Sunrise Park Resort when  it had the most snow out of all the resorts in North America!  In Arizona??  Who wudda thunk it?!!

Christmas!  Let's just say it was FULL of family!  It was so memorable to have my oldest brother Randy and his family around for the holidays.  We haven't had Christmas with them for like 5 years!  Something  like that.  And Sharina and Chris came down from Las Vegas.  So happy to have all of my family around.  

And it was a quieter Christmas on the Wanlass side :(  Sherra and her family are settled out in New York.  But the distance isn't enough to keep us apart in spirit.  The Wanlass girls got together and published a Shutterfly book.  It looked amazing!!  So fun to do, too!  And the spine says "volume 1"...meaning we will be publishing more throughout the years!  Shem's dad says "this is the best gift".  Pretty niffy, eh?!

Maycee enjoying the festivities!  This is right before we left to go to church with the Wanlass side.  I didn't get a SINGLE picture of her in her actual Christmas dress and I ended up returning it the next day.  I'm so mad at myself!!!!  It was a gorgeous one.  (I returned it because it was too small for her, ok to wear to one church meeting though)  Next year I'll do better...haha

What a wonderful day it was to spend with family and enjoy a perfect church meeting.  The music was heavenly and the messages shared brought the focus of the true Christmas spirit.  It was a memorable day.  Can't believe it's 2012 already!
